Greetings Kaslo,

I’ve recently moved to this beautiful little village from various other beautiful little places in the Kootenays where I’ve lived and worked for the past 25 years as a full time pro photographer and photojournalist.

On arriving here I thought I’d put together a collection of local and regional images for your enjoyment. Some are from a while back and some are brand new. I’ll be adding to this gallery over time and probably be placing lifestyle portraits of many of you right here. So keep checking back.

As you’ll note you can actually email this slideshow to friends and relatives everywhere to show them our little piece of paradise. Hope you enjoy the show!

If you’d like to know more about my photography and what I do please visit my website at www.dougpyperphoto.com  and my gallery website at www.photoshelter.com/user/dougpyper

Ever wonder what the view's like from Mount Loki (the most prominent Purcell peak seen across the lake from Kaslo)?

Well, here it is, taken by a group that included Victoria McAllister, Chris & Joanne Temple, Michael Proctor and his Nelson-based friend, Kathleen, and photographer Pat Mallet, on August 24th.

Do we live in a spectacular part of the world, or what?!
