The Community Fund of North Kootenay Lake

The Community Fund of North Kootenay Lake (CFNKL) was founded in 2003 to serve the needs of the Village of Kaslo and communities in Area D of the Regional District of Central Kootenay. It’s an affiliated fund operating under the wing of Nelson’s Osprey Community Foundation.

CFNKL is committed to supporting and strengthening the community groups and initiatives that are working in North Kootenay Lake. A volunteer grants committee makes recommendations to the Community Fund Board of Directors about how to allocate available funds, in line with expressed priorities from the community. For further information or to donate, download a copy of the Community Fund of North Kootenay Lake brochure.
